Re: Miguel Bay Launch Tactics (the guard rail and wall)
Here's how we do it:
1. Unload kayak and all accessories by rail.
2. Park Car.
3. Shove boat w/o accessories over rail to lower ground
4. Drag kayak to water.
5. Take all accessories to kayak in water.
6. Launch.
It's getting it back over the rail that is the fun part

Re: Kayak Purchase: Online or Local Dealer
You could potentially save a lot more $ and buy local by purchasing a used kayak :D . Waiting is the hard part but every model should come along eventually at a way better price then new. Curious though, does ACK include free shipping and no sales tax? I even wonder if local vendor would realize you...

Re: Two Kayaks For All Your Fishing?
Why would anyone need 2 kayaks.. I'd agree with that. I wish my ultimate had scuppers so I'd feel that much more safe in the GOM but I'm not crazy about the slayer's layout. My other vessel is a flat back canoe that can throw some wake thanks to a 2.5hp suzuki outboard. Those are my two vessels, 1s...

Re: Which braid to use?
I'll recommend Suffix performance & their 832. I have one reel with the PowerPro Super Slick, I like that stuff too.
