I think I need to make an addendum. Erick is on the same track as I am. When I say "SKUNKED" I am talking abt skunked by fish that I am trying to catch (i.e. The inshore 3) not ladyfish, cats, jacks or awkwardly back-hooked mullet (great pic). I always catch SOMETHING, well, 8 out of 10. :...

I've decided to rebuild my tackle box. I don't have ANY of the lures that were poste besides the D.O.A.'s. Also, If the rain isn't a hindrance, I may attempt a VERY early trip on Weds or Thurs. On the water and toss topwater. I've never been on the water B4 light, maybe that will be the ticket. Lure...

I already have a "manual" powerpole also. I found a ski pole at a yard sale and knocked the big round tip off. This thing must have been for Andre' the Giant, I love it. Length??? Longer than 15 ft, but not by much. I think I'll jump from 1/4 inch to 3/8's and see if that makes a differenc...

Anchor Line Origame

Fishing last friday I was overcome with the feeling I should throw my anchor overboard, WITHOUT IT TIED ON!!! How does everyone dealwith/handle/stow their line on their 'yak so it doesn't become a freakin' tangled monkey's fist, but at the ready for deployment? I saw fpacer's idea and thought it was...

Hmmm....
I don't think it would have to be any longer than you can throw a lit Zippo lighter.....
after puncturing the drunk crabbers fuel tank with the absurdly sharp tip
