Re: Celebration of Life for TerryW (Updated)
Interesting mix of liberal old hippies and crusty old salts. That chick could reach across the aisle. One of her sunset pics now graces my study.

Native Ultimate Paddlers - A Cautionary Tale
Well, I had some fun on the open Gulf this Tuesday and Thursday and the windcast looked favorable enough to sneak in one more trip this morning. Little did I know that Mexico had declared war on St. Petersburg and had been sending a barrage of small rolling waves all through the night. The Gulf was ...

Re: Back to the Beach
It was the 8, Joe. Heavy-handed for the Silvers, but there are plenty of other species out there I wouldn't want to meet with anything less.

Back to the Beach
Been keeping an eye on the winds lately and just couldn't resist hitting the beach with the Native Ultimate to look for Silver Trout and other winter species. On Tuesday, the winds were predicted to be 1-2 mph and I headed out at first light. Met up with a buddy I know from Tarpon Seasons past and c...

Terry was one of the original cool chicks of the paddle fishing community. Who didn't love her?

Re: Good plan gone not so good, some girl power, and an int
Uncle T - can you elaborate on scuttle? As in almost sank the boat because it filled with water? Coupla Tarpon Seasons ago, I was out with EZLYF and ZeroSix in less-than-ideal conditions. Anchored from the stern, I was taking waves all the way into the cockpit. At the time, I had the habit of keepi...

Re: Flyrod Repair
I actually need two. No idea how to measure. For what it's worth, it's the 4th guide from the butt on a 7 wt. TFO and the 3rd from the butt of a 6 wt. SA.

http://www.imathlete.com/donate For a great cause. The Navy Seal Foundation supports injured American heroes and the families of American heroes who have been killed in the line of duty. I can think of no other worthier cause. Our own David Horn (Bigfish171) will be swimming for the cause. He has c...

Re: Tampa Bay Frogman Swim - still need kayaker help!
Now I guess we know who will be there. Any thoughts on getting together logistice? Last year I teamed up with Shamus. I followed him over to the landing area and we left his pick-up. After the event we loaded the boats in his truck and drove back to the launch. I can hold 6 or more in my SUV so if ...
