http://tinyurl.com/pdjjuq There are very few places in Florida that you can't carry a gun with a concealed carry license. For the few times you can't carry there are many car safes available. I can't see not carrying while fishing. There are many characters hanging out at some of the secluded launch...

For the beach I use a chug bug. It makes some noise. As far as color, whatever will contrast with the color of the sky the most.

I usually use pin fish if I'm going to use live bait. I put them in a bait bucket in the kayak while I'm paddling and put the bucket in the water and refresh them when I'm not paddling. Pin fish seem to last a while.
