Dave, I have a Ride and I dont know if I have had wet seat issues. Just got it last year so it is a newer model. I have only used it a handful of times but dont remember getting water in the seat. Next time I get it out, which will be the end of the month I will check on that. Oh, and edited to add ...

I dont think it matters either...but if you were using red line, with a red lure with red hooks...then maybe the fish didnt see anything.

I am up to 5....Ride 135, Tarpon 140, Tarpon 120, Tarpon 100 and now the Commander 120. Which I got to replace the Tarpon 120 which is an older model. But who knows I may keep it as well. Really excited about trying this kayak out. Especially with all the Native guys being so happy with their kayaks...
