You are near Watts Bar. Pretty good bass fishing, both largemouth and smallmouth, as I recall and I think they also have plenty of crappie and some hybrid rock bass. Been years since I was there but the memories are good.

Last time I spooled up with PPro at Holy Mackeral it was 9 cents/yd. That was some time ago, before I started using Fins.

I add a popping cork frequently when it is too weedy to work a jig slow enough. Lately I have also been using it to throw a tiny swimbait to match the hatch.

I would hate to see airboats in there too. It would seem that that would require a ramp and that would certainly add significant costs for the city. As well, airboats just don't seem to fit with Kurt's ecotours photographing birds.
