I had a hammerhead about the length of my redfish 14 come up to the back of my kayak hit my rudder; Then follow me on the surface of the water for about 300yds til I hit shore. everybody on the beach could see the huge fine right behind me! believe me I was not a happy camper.

I think summer is the best time for snook on the dock lights near passes but I dont know about in upper tampa bay?

He said he has lived here his whole life and is an avid diver but will not go in the water around there anymore!

I heard that on the radio this morning as well.

I would say the everglades is a great idea. Back country snook, tarpon, grouper, and reds.

The cheap xtools are 6.99 at dogfish last time I was there.

They are the largest crew of Tampa bay and also one of the largest charity groups in Florida. They dress up as rough riders for all the parades they are in.

Fantasy Fest was great and so was the fishing. I was in the parade saturday night because my dad is a rough rider that was awesome. So many girls begging for beeds!!!! Also caught a bunch of tarpon. Every night we had fresh mangrove snapper and lobster before going down town.

Never got to spot for peacocks. Thanks for the help though I will be back down soon.
