Re: DOA Paddle Tournament
They're pretty understanding at River Palm, and more than accomodating. I'm sure if you talk to a live person, they'll work something out for you. Not real sure how they are with emails. But I'm sure that having a patron stuck in one of their rooms during a tourney is something they'll make make sur...

Re: I want a poon this year!
I'm with you Jus, I tried to paddle over to the Skyway from Miguel's but the wind and waves were too much for me. Looking to try it again sometime soon.

Re: Suggested techniques to go against the current.
Since this technology has been used for larger craft to increase efficeincy (and some concepts for smaller personal recreation-like jet skiis) are you looking into some sort of patent or application for smaller self-propelled craft?

Re: Suggested techniques to go against the current.
So essentially what you're saying is that based on the shape of the craft, or placement of the foils, more water is displaced over a larger surface area from the front of the craft and the rear basically "rides" the wake created by the foil, or foils, to propel the vessel forward? It’s nea...

Re: J-VILLE TOURNEY
I remember that storm and was fortunate to get off the water JUST as the downpour started. ULII and I were facing south and didn't even see it coming up behind us. One of us just happened to look back and decided that it was time to head back to the launch. I was surprised by the amount of water tha...

Fishing Friday...???
Is anyone out there fishing Friday and wouldn't mind having an extra tagalong? Looking at the tides its not a typical day I would fish, but its been a minute so I need to get out on the water and I figure it would give me a chance to learn some new techniques. I'll wear a blind fold to keep favorite...

I just picked up a Stealth 14 last week. I bought it from someone in Jacksonville. Still waiting to take her out on her maiden voyage. Sold my Native Manta Ray.

Re: Riddle me this!!
The gas may have been the culprit. Even though you washed your hands, that gas station soap may not have odne the job completely or may have even added to the problem. But that's just a guess, I'm no expert at all. I've cast into a school of feeding ladyfish with a naked jighead before while a buddy...

Re: SOTE Slam Plus One
At least the focal length is the length of you arm and not something else! Fixed focal lengths are rough. Is it and older camera or is it ment to be ona tri-pod? It is a Kodak PlaySport. It is fairly new, but it primarily a point and shoot video camera, but it can shoot stills. Since it is waterpro...
