Although there are a couple spots on the West coast I've been looking at, I agree with the East coast recommendation.

I've wondered about that area. Took a few marine biology trips to UTB Park in high school. I think it would be interesting to see what flows in and out of Double Branch with the tides.

Re: Kingfish preparation
My preference is mono for a little bit of give for those fast and hard pulling kings. Although there are guys that are successful on braid. Wire leader as well, if not wire then fc but a stinger rig is a must. Just my opinion...any others?

A couple months....com'on over to the east coast, the catchin's fine! As far as wheels go, look at Harbor Freight. Use the coupon in Sunday's paper and even save 20% on one of em. I paid less than $8 total for the wheels I got.

Re: What do you read or watch?
I do have a ton of Average Angler episodes on the DVR. Its a pretty entertaining show, kinda corny and cheesy at times but that just makes it more humerous to me. I like that he fished from a kayak a lot and also fishes waters I recognize. Got me really wanting to get up to Ozello.

Re: What do you read or watch?
Flats Class is the best show out there, I've learned more from that show than any of the others. The others are just entertainment. I used to watch the Kayak Fishing show on WFN but oddly enough, I find it hard to relate to (still somewhat entertaining). As far as mags go, Florida Sportsman, Kayak A...

Playlinda beach near the Canaveral National Seashore or there's a boat ramp next to Fisherman's world in Cocoa. Pay close attention to the waves and wind and especially the boats in Cocoa. It's the same channel the cruise ships, party boats, and other recreational boaters use. It may seem a bit craz...

Re: GLAD I FISH THE FLATS
Check out the Youtube version. A lot more 'exciting' than the news, and you can actually see how close the gator was to coming in the kayak.... Gotti vs Gator.

Re: BIG Black Drum
Not really, but if someone takes the time to figure out what part of the CC they can get to within 24 minutes of the USMC bldg near the Gandy, a little Google map imagery can help triangulate your position. Looks like you may have a new lunch buddy.
