Last couple of days I've hit several areas with nothing to show for my efforts but a 19 1/2 inch trout. Lots of dead mullet. Spotted one impressive Snook.

Buy a Van Staal. Yes they are expensive but still cheaper than replacing $100 reels every 1 1/2 years.

Santa dropped off the wireless remote to go with my Go pro 3. After toying with it for a few minutes I believe I'm ready, camera wise for Tarpon that is. Using the remote I believe I'll be able to capture the elusive first jump.

Hit the docks around Bird Key in search of Sheepies. Water was Gin clear and they would spook if you got within 10 feet of them. They now have a wireless remote for the hero 3 and 4 series. Once you hear DaveR's reel start to scream just click the remote and start filming.

If you own a Seal -a- Meal you can make a bag that fits perfectly in the bottom of your bag. Just fill the bag with water and freeze.
