Congrats, Terry. Looks great!

I also got a new ride. My 2 year 4 month old Hobie Revolution developed a crack in the well nut location. 4 months out of warranty. At the Tackle Shack, they told me to come out back and pick out my new kayak. Hobie and Tackle Shack rock!

Ditto that.

I'm afraid to say it, as I might jinks myself, but I just got a new schedule at work. I now have Saturday's off. I look forward to attending the next outing.

Again, nice truck Jose. I forgot to send you the pics of you by your truck. They should still be in the camera.

Be sure to call me when you get freed up for fishing.

You're a blessed man, Randy. Fishing, while spending time with your grandson. It doesn't get much better than that.

Sorry Gary, perhaps I could have been more clear. What I meant was heavy " like the beefy rod behind you"; meaning "as heavy as" that rod, not specifically the Sabiki rod itself. I was always of the impression the heavier the rig, the quicker and less painful the landing. I feel...

Randy, congrats on your slam! Sorry about getting hooked. It happened to me once in the middle of no where; Guanaja off the coast of Honduras, when a still green wahoo threw a 12/0 hook deep into my leg. pag_yaker, a 'beefy' set of dikes or diagonal pliers should work well, also. https://secure1.tpp...

Gary, I'm sure it's a very strong rig you're using, wouldn't a heavier rod like the beefy one behind you would make the fight less traumatic on both of you. Cisco, I think you're pulling my leg. But in case you are serious, that "beefier rod" behind me is my sabiki rod, only meant f...

Mark and Sharon, I'm sorry for your loss. I'm sure your dad is glad to have you close by. And it looks like a good move for you and Sharon. I'm sure it won't take you and Sharon long to locate every fish in that area. You can even give them names so that when you're buddies come down to fish with yo...

Thanks everyone for your positive compliments. My special thanks to Kyle and Adrian for sticking with me. Fortunately, nothing went wrong. Shortly before getting the tarpon alongside, Adrian saw the shadow of a big shark by his kayak. Later we figured it must have been a big nurse shark. Had it been...
