"My (newish) Boat" - Native Ultimate 14.5 solo
I recently sold my Malibu Stealth 12 and picked up a used Native Ultimate 14.5 solo. One of the things I loved most about the Stealth was the amount of storage it came with. I mean it had hatches everywhere, I never had to use a milk crate and everything was easily accessible. Somewhat of a differen...

Re: Anyone fishing in this heat?
Hit the water yesterday morning for my Native's maiden voyage. Slammed out by about 11 am and also added a Mangrove Snapper to the mix!
The water was surprisingly cooler than I thought it would be, I guess because of the rain.

That strip of land at the end of the county maintained right of way is actually owned by someone & is not an easement. http://www.hcpafl.org/CamaDisplay.aspx?OutputMode=Display&SearchType=RealEstate&ParcelID=17283006J000000160000U" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;...

Re: Anybody have any friends at the Tax Assessors office?
John, That's pretty much the same situation, minus the drugs, dumping and d-baggery. Everyone who kayaks in my neighborhood has used that launch for years, keeping it clean and clear of debris. I know I'm not the only one who is upset about this, I wouldn't be surprised if it turns into a situation ...

Anybody have any friends at the Tax Assessors office?
I'm having a neighbor issue. He recently built a house at the end of my road where the neighborhood launches kayaks. His property jumps across a county easement that is marked on GIS survey maps: http://propmap3.hcpafl.org/printmap.asp?folio=0055420076&minX=447988.924871669&minY=1339139.6760...

Re: Hello from Nevada, Now Floridian
M-170 huh? I've got an M38A1 but it's in GA at my parents house. I've fished out around Fred Howard Park many times. Really nice grass flats all around there. I've heard of some BIG trout (Big for W coast) being caught around there. And I've caught my share of reds and a few snook around there too. ...

Re: Favorite Wading shoes
I just use the cheapo neoprene zip up ones from Dick's Sporting Goods. I think they're $30<, so replacing them isn't going to break the bank. They're decent around oysters and are pretty comfortable.
