Re: Fishing in Wyoming
Dang, I wish I would have seen this earlier, I went to a spot near Jackson, Wy several years ago and was able to catch something like 15 big cut-throat trout on fly in 2 hours. This was with no guide and no trout fishing experience. I could have sent you in the right direction.

Re: Beyond the Breakers
If you are willing to drive over to the east coast I do this quite often anywhere from the Canaveral Seashore to Indian Harbour Beach. The best time of the year is between June and September. We caught some nice kings, sharks, bonita, jacks, and tarpon this year.

Re: Any updates on the Penn Battle?
I have an 8000 that I use for Kingfish, Sharks, Tarpon, and Vertical Jigging from the kayak. I love mine and the drag is great.
On a side note I have not found a reel yet that does not get constant wind knots with braid when blind casting, that includes shimano reels, but maybe its just me.

Kayak VS Boat Tug-Of-War at the EKFT (VIDEO)
While I was fishing a wreck a guy in a center-console fishing boat decided that he wanted the wreck to himself and intentionally ran through a flat line I had out. My reel back-lashed and the drag from the kayak was not enough to break the line, so I I started to get drug by the boat. When the boate...

Extreme Kayak Fishing Tournament Experience
Even though the weather was really bad and the tournament director surely contemplated rescheduling, the event took place anyway. All of the competitors battled high winds, high seas, and unexpected current directions. My strategy was to head for deep water (200ft-350ft) in hopes of catching some do...

Kingfish and Tarpon from the Beach
A friend, his Step-Dad, and I headed out of Playalinda at the crack of dawn yesterday to do some trolling. When we headed out there was no bait in the water and the water was still cold. We caught a couple croakers each, rigged them up on stingers and trolled north along the beach. I picked up a cou...

No, but I have constructed a hat that the GoPro mounts to, it just feels front heavy up there. Not to mention I have dropped a hat or two in the water, I dont think it would float with a GoPro mounted to it
