You make standing up look so easy. I am doin ok on calm days. I went to stand up saturday in cockroach in about 5 feet of water and it was a little rough, Lets just say I almost went swimming and my girlfriend couldnt quit laughing at me.

Heading to cockroach in the morning, hoping to be there by 6 15. gonna get some shrimp and get the girlfriend on the trout hopefully for her first time out in the kayak, probably wont be hitting the reds or snook up to much with her with me.

I wouldnt be caught in saddle creek if it was the last place I could ever fish.

Have you looked into chassahowitzka river. There is a campground right across the highway at the intersection of 19 and 98. Not sure how far of a paddle it is from the bay but i have been at the boat ramp and it has some crystal clear water.

Thinking of hitting cockroach wednesday after I get off work, Pm me if you want to head out, probably get there about 4:30-4:45

THanks cant beat that price, local tackle shop can only get the new models for 120.

Not now, 120 bucks, Redfish told me about the diawa exceler and I think I might go with that for now.

I just bought my girlfriend a kayak so she can start fishing with me. I dont want to spend a lot of money on reels for her right now, would like to stay around 75 bucks for a salt water reel. What are you suggestions.

I had talked to you about it about 3 weeks ago, I just dont have the room right now for a 14 foot boat, I am picking up another redfish 12 for my girlfriend tomorrow.
