Re: Backcountry Snookin'

Nice video, the owl was very cool. I had one dive bomb a topwater way up in a river like that once. Cool animals for sure. Yeah thats what this one was doing, I was fishing with a buzz frog and he was going after it. He got so close I could have grabbed him but I didn't get a good shot of that, and...

Re: First Video

I may have posted pics before of my mount. I have had it for a while. Better yet, I will take a video of it to show you how it works, since it doesn't look all that impressive :D

Also, I have a Mac and use iMovie... Really easy to use and it makes it really fun.

My Amazing June!

So... June was a REALLY good month. The good part started when my brother got here on Friday the 10th and picked up his brand new hobie Revolution. He got to my place around 4pm and couldn't wait to get in his new kayakand catch some fish. So a couple hours after he arrived we were on the water and ...

Team Revo is freaking ridiculous... Maybe I should have just asked Chris (Tex@OIP) to be on his team when he mentioned it  But hopefully my team will start hittin the water a little harder, and the p-cola seas will get rougher so they stop catching those darn Red Snapper!

Bad News but that Upper TB park launch is currently closed as well... They are working on the dock last time I was there, and by "working on it" I mean they barricaded it but hadn't actually started anything yet...

A Back Country Snook Will Survive!

Went out after work for a quick hour and a half trip, that I desperately needed to take the edge off of a stressful day. I got to my spot and the mullet were going crazy, and the fry were jumping everywhere. I thought to myself that it sure was nice to see some life in the water again and that maybe...

What type of lures were they hitting?

The bass here in Cape Coral are just not biting since the freeze.
They were schooling up on white bait and we were catching them on crystal minnow type lures,
