I fish these waters often. With the cooler water coming the action will get good. I am paddling a wheat colored Native. Say hello on the water.

I will bring some chicken wings if I can use someones grill.

The drunken masses have a tendency to keep me away from the water on holidays like these.

Todd, I was looking for that tissue picture. It truly shows his sense of humor. I had tears the first time I saw him wear that as I was laughing and now again as I miss my friend.

Today I have not just lost a friend and fishing buddy but a brother and family member.

Cookinfish and I were fishing in the big bend one weekend. Day one mark gets broken off over a rock pile. The next day we hit that rock pile again. Landing a fish he saw some line sticking out of it's mouth. Checking inside the mouth he found the lure he lost the day prior.

My only thought for the pfts is scheduling. Two of this years tournaments took place on a Saturday before a major holiday. Thanksgiving and Easter. I just can't get big days like that off and I would guess some might be traveling on those days. I would have made 2 more tourneys this year if not for ...
