Live bait is not fishing, it's throwing and waiting.

Earlier the better for me. I would advise getting there before the sun comes up. Anytime after that it gets busy with boaters. I launch from the ramp at the end of CRBay road. Easy beach access back the truck up drop the kayak off. done.

Friday and Saturday are out for me. Love fishing but would rather spend the time with my 4 year old son.

TexasDan and I are planning a trip Sunday morning. Thinking about heading to CR Bay if anyone is interested.

Can one of you guys tell me if there is a charge for launching or parking at Bullfrog Creek. Also, is your vehicle safe, have you had any problems there etc. It just looks like a much more pleasant launch than Williams Park and I don"t really enjoy paddling that particular area of the Alafia. ...

Ive caught them on spook jr and Xrap early in the morning. I think that my problem is that I grew up fishing freshwater for bass. When i started fishing saltwater i had no clue about tides and moving water. I would fish protected areas out of the wind and calm water. In my short tenure as a saltwate...

Ah the elusive catfish. I too was a master of catching the slimy sailcat for many years.......UNTIL I STOPPED USING BAIT !!!!

Funny thing is, I only fish artificial or "dead" if you include gulp in the not really alive category.

Anywhere water moves especially where there is a slight change in depth. Throw the spook jr or Xrap. I'm almost an expert at catching fish no one else wants.Next weeks episode wil be targeting techniques for the elusive catfish!

Surely it's not against the law to shoot fish in Florida......It's a rapidly growing sport in the rural towns of Texas. Right Dan.....
