Re: It’s been a long time

Some of us old-timers just can't accept the social media stuff... forums are about as hi-tek as it will get, except maybe FB which the youngsters have moved on from already.

Several of us South Florida old-time PF, KFS paddlers hang out on FishTheFuture.

Re: It’s been a long time

Welcome back, its a shame that this site has pretty much dried up... although it recently had a very nice upgrade and is still being hosted...

I still check in often hoping the tide will turn... remember the days this was the go-to paddle fishing site for all of Florida.

Re: Happy Holidays 2017, bring on 2018

I hear ya, I'm thinking its done and cleaning up my desktop, actually setting up a new computer, this one may get sacrificed. Actually most forums seem to have little useful traffic.. perhaps the 3 West Coast sites should join forces.. I always liked this site, and like you learned a lot, and met ma...

Re: Is it Over ?

Very sad indeed.. I still visit it pretty much every day, and still practice old school simple paddle craft style fishing and as much DIY as possible. Still have my Dorado kayak along with the Vagabond canoe and a beater SUP DIY rigged for fishing which use mainly now-days.

Is it Over ?

Is it over for this forum, is there anyone left here besides me ? I still check in here daily, along with a few other forums.. I guess I'm old school... and its been quite some time since there was much of any traffic here or the other 2 or 3 local S. Florida forums. Reasons have been solicited and ...

Re: Native Ultimate 12 ???

Will do BB, setup for me is a real simple deal I'm a minimalist... most likely a couple bungies will do, I'll transfer the crate I use in my canoe and/or the Engle 30 I use in the canoe and paddleboard. Depending on bottom I either take a DIY PVC stake out pole or anchor (6# downrigger ball weight) ...

Native Ultimate 12 ???

How does one determine what year/model and/or when a Native Ultimate 12 was built ? Kind of looking for an older original base model of this kayak. I know some seem to have a deployable keel and some don't. I remember seeing them for the first time many years ago at one of Capt. wrights Choko paddle...

Re: No kayak, but Peacock

Yes bank-hopping at its best... Peacocks love hot weather. Thats part of the plan of most anglers, target LM bass early then Peacock's mid day. That same day Cordel had a client and they left that spot to hit Peacock and killed them. November for sure, unless we have a severe cold front, haha, or tw...
