Met up with Peter (Mako) today for some low tide fishing this morning. We found some reds and got them to chew. I fished Matlacha on Sat. and used the Skwoosh pad I won in the last PF.com tournament. I was skeptical but it works much better the the gel pad I had been using. I could feel my ass at end of the day! BTW Matlacha was like a ghost town. No fish anywhere.

It was a nice tournament but was not a good day on the water for myself. Congrats to all the winners. Well done.

Hopefully next year we can get a few more paddlers from the west coast to make the trip over. It was a great tournament and will only improve with time.
