Haven't been fishing much as my wife just got her new paddleboard, I've been playing the part of supply vessel for the most part but I did get to the lox...

Great pics and report! Thanks for the lure tips I will try them out in local freshwater. Have much to learn about freshwater fishing and should since my condo is on a lake and I have the Snapper Creek canal launch just a couple of minutes away. Supposedly it is good bass fishing. Definately good fo...

The Lox once more 02/11/09

Yes, it was windy as hell today...we initially decided to check out a new spot in a residential area said to hold lots and lots of peacock bass...it was too cold for Peacock Bass as we saw one or two floaters and the one pea I saw swimming wasn't looking so hot either...its a good spot just not in F...

Loxahatchee snookin' 02/04/08

So the front hit on my days off as usual and not to be beaten by the weather gods I decided to drag Lefty out to the Loxahatchee with me. I figured he'd never been there and last week I only paddled up to the first dam and turned around. http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c281/ilikebuscuits/Winter%20...

The upper Oleta River in North Miami is only a few minutes away from aventura...it holds snook in the winter time on the right tides. There is also Dumbfoundling Bay and Maule Lake right in Aventura, they are usually good spots in the summer...they may very well be completely bare in the winter time...

Ding Darling/Loxahatchee 01/28-29/08

On Wednesday morning me, and my good friends Kenny and Justin were going to Chokoloskee but somehow on the drive there we started talking about Ding Darling and one thing led to another… We hit Ding at 07:30 and paddled straight out to McIntyre Creek, the trout were everywhere. We could have limited...

don't feel bad man, the keys have always been rough on me, never made a decent catch down there...with the exception of the Dry Tortugas and the NW Key Largo backcountry.
