Live bait, artificials, and they even rent kayaks. Just double back to Meres and proceed to Howard...

Re: First time Kayak Guide?

I am fairly new at kayak fishing and was interested in hiring a guide to show me the ropes. I have had some fairly good success in the caledesi area over the past 4-5 trips. I am hooked on kayak fishing. I was hoping for some advice on some knowledgable kayak guides in the Tampa area. Also, do you ...

Good to meet you Bob.

We had to work hard to get 3 slot reds, and 1 over slot trout.
Long day, long paddle, good chat.

You might want to check with Osprey Bay. They have the rentals on Honeymoon Island I believe. I've taken a paddling class with them and learned better technique, they have certified instructors. Hopefully they can give you some sort of school/group discount.

Re: Hood-winked

Greater sensitivity, Better hooksets & the ability to manipulate a lure it only stands to reason that the handle be on the side opposite you dominant hand. My point is, you can teach yourself to do a lot of things. Even your dad could crank from the right/correct side if he chose to do so. ha! ...

I'm in Palm Harbor -- would be ok with travelling
Weekends are best Sat or Sun
No real signature fly -- maybe share a flatwing tie they use in New England
Would like to learn EP fiber style ties.

Swap techniques, patterns etc.

Great idea.
