Wow, that's a new one. I catch and eat flounder all the time and have never tasted mud It's the best tasting fish inshore if you ask me.

Went out yesterday with the fly rod and one spinning rod. Caught 2 reds 14"-21" on fly and switched to my spinning rod at low tide. Using a white jerk bait, I caught 2 trout 15-16" and 2 flounder 14-23". Biggest flounder for me to date, at around 6 pounds or so. A nice day, a NE ...
