Sorry it's taken this long to post. My trip was not the greatest but hey I never expect a lot when fishing new territory for the first time. I caught a few under slot snook no reds and 1 keeper trout.

Palm river / McKay bay
I would like to try fishing the mouth of palm river or McKay bay but I have know idea where I can launch from. Any input will be of help

if I wanted to launch my canoe and fish the mouth of palm river & McKay bay where can I launch from? looking on google earth but not coming up with much.

any luck? everytime i drive the crosstown i say to myself wonder if theres any fish out there why dont i ever see anyone fishing that area.

Doug let me cast one of his rods a couple years ago. It was very smooth and felt good but a 1/2oz. hunk of lead flies through the air differently than a 1/2oz. lure.
