Re: Sanibel Island
Thanks. That's the area I was looking at on Google Earth. I guess I'll give it a shot.

Sanibel Island
Hey guys, next weekend we (me, wife and child) will be meeting the inlaws at Sanibel for the weekend. My last trip there didn't amount to much as far as the fishing goes. Anyway, does anyone know of a good place to launch/fish on the island? I've been scanning Google earth a bit and noticed some fla...

Re: Looking for Fishing Camera
I use the Olympus TG830 and haven't had any issues. I met another kayaker that uses the same camera and likes it as well.

Re: Stradic Ci4+ ???
I recently bought a Ci4+ 4000 and paired it up on a 7'6" Mojo Inshore ML rod with 10lb Power Pro. I tried it out this past weekend for the first time. No complaints what-so-ever. I'm considering getting another one after the holidays.

Re: Stradic Ci4+ ???
I bought one a few weeks ago. Paired it up with a 7'6"ML St Croix Mojo rod and 10lb braided Power Pro. My opinion...it looks awesome!! My detailing business has not allowed the time to use it though. So, I can't give a performance opinion...unfortunately.

FreshlySalted is back in. He's on his way back from Georgia and wanted me to let you know. I guess he didn't think he was going to make it...but now he can.
Thanks!

Re: First Redfish in 22-25 years.
Nice job on the reds.
I know what you mean about your grandfather. My dad passed away 2 years ago and wish I had made a few more fishing trips with him when he was able to go. Like you said, I'm sure they're proud as they look down watching!

Where are you going to be in Biscayne Bay and what days? If I can and it is after Christmas I will run out with ya. If you are going to hit North Biscayne Bay I can set you up on some good morning trout fishing. Awesome!! I'm hoping to get out early on the 26th at Biscayne. Last, and only, time I f...

Upper Tampa Bay 12/18/12
Well, today wasn't a great day for bites...but better than last week I guess. I kinda knew heading out there, that with the light front moving in, fishing may be a little tricky. But, since I had the day off again, I figured, "why not". I managed to catch 3 reds within the first hour. Afte...

Re: Friends of the River Boat Parade 2012
How did you power the lights on your kayak? Trolling-motor battery and power converter. I ran 2 strands of lights and the animated gator on it. I was able to keep it going for about 3-1/2 hours solid before it started dying out. Most paddlers there had battery-operated lights (lights with it's own ...

Friends of the River Boat Parade 2012
This was the first time I participated in this event. This was their 13th annual parade. Here are some pics: (For some reason, a few will not upload in the correct "rotated" position. Even though I rotated and saved in editing. Sorry in advance) http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o4/jvizzi...
