Re: Record Gar? Or Fake?
It's very possible its real. That region was once know for massive gar until they blamed them for a lot of attack that were more likely gators. They were almost eradicated cause people new little about them except they had huge teeth and their girth was enough to concoct some kind of BS story. I for...

Re: If this doesn't make your legs shake!
I've heard another definition of a hole jumper before... Aka someone whom is known as a male hoe :-). My dad use to use the word Dimwit as he smacked us in back of the head when we were doing.shit we shouldn't. It pissed me of then and still to this day that's one of those touchy words. But then aga...

Re: Top water for trout
Never seen that lure till just now. With top water the hits are usually more of an aggresive nature. The fish in my experience tend to hit towards the bottom middle unless they're big enough to gobble the whole thing. If you retrive it at a faster pace then slow down it makes it easier for the fish ...

Re: Native Ultimate 14.5 Deep Water Reentry - A Successful T
I'm glad you older guys have plenty of time to perform these experiments so I don't have to. That sounded like a hell of a workout man. I love the Native but since it's not self bailing it won't be my next investment for fishing at least.

Re: We Made the News
I was chucking the white spook but my bud to the left was chucking top water soft plastic and a suspending twitch bait. I hear they'll hit quite a few different lures but I not sure which ones I fall down when it comes to Tarpon. I don't use live bait much so I guess I'm at the mercy of experience.

Good thing it was way before fishing with this group they would have strung me up by my ankles. For good reasons too. You're a capitain I'm sure you know th...
