Looks like a tough fighting fish. I imagine by the cooler full that they are good eating fish? What is the lure/bait of choice? They sure do fight hard especially on light gear. I love the taste of snapper ,I like to fillet them and then cover them in flower and fry in a pan,the kids also love snap...

Looks like you're a talented metal bender. Is it your line of work? Thanks for that. There is actually 2 water ways here in Melbourne which hold snapper from late spring to mid summer.Rik wrote:Where is "our bay"? What part of Australia?
I fish mainly Port Phillip Bay and the one is Western Port.

Snapper in Australia.
