The kayak is now looking about as good as it can, have on order a new set of foot brace tracks and a set of the small foot brace's... found a set of seat covers but have not pulled the trigger on these yet.

No but it would be nice... not sure what fish might be in there or how fresh water could sustain not becoming brackish.

People.... reading and posting.. I need to find a skeg for my Native 12, please help. The skeg is missing and new parts are not available, at lease not unless I can find someone, or place, that has a new old stock skeg sitting on a shelf, in a box, hidden away in a garage perhaps an estate sale ...

Only have arm propulsion... to shallow where I fish for any of the foot propelled craft. Mostly I fish B-Bay for Bonefish and spend a full day in less than 18" of water to the hard bottom which is covered with 6-12" of turtle grass.

Wish I could get to Sanibel.. I love that place even if I don;t get to fish there. I've been going there since I was a kid back in the '50's, and remeber years when we had to take the ferry across.

Older and lazy... I don;t do much bank hopping any more, but maybe I can get out there and give it a try. As you can see the photo links seem to have crapped out.. and my local canal the fishing has gone to crap in the last few years. Well gone to crap is a matter of perspective, the LM and Peacock ...

Seems like the rain has gone by here on my side also, the canals were up a lot and all the gates and pump stations have been on in full force here to the tide....

The Spillway/Pipe bite has been on... but levels are back to a normal level so the pumping should subside.

You are only required to have a noise making device... get a whistle.
