A fly I tied, wanting some input

So I just winged this one. I was going for a for a clouser minnow ish fly. I just did what seemed good to me, but i know thats certainly not neccesarily what a fish might like the look of. It was made with bass in mind, but I just wanted to see from you pros if it was too busy, or if it looked ok......

Where do you get materials from locally? I would like to get some pink bucktail and also peacock something or other (for antennas) and try making a cookin shrimp. Also I was wondering...when you guys fly fish are you mainly sight casting or just blind casting?

Very cool feeling! I have come to realize that my casting has a long way to go. I think im gonna look at some youtube vids and stuff for a few tips.

I know the flies aren't too special but they are my first, and I caught a little bass on one! Im very much a beginner, hence the inexpensive equipment, but Im getting there very slowly. Caught the bass on the little green "wooly bugger" In the pic its still wet so its extra flat, it doesnt...

I heard about somebody that converted a weedwacker into an outboard for kayaks. Doesnt weigh to0 much, dont have to carry much fuel and could get you to the next spot pretty quick. Id love one.
