yeah the closed cell foam is a must i just tried casting it and it was like fly casting a brick it got so water logged.....

Yeah I only went from back to front. Didnt have much choice, just had a small bit of foam, need to go to walmart. Thanks for the advice

I was there about a month ago. I tore up the trout and my buddy pulled a big old fat red out on a DOA. Said he saw it trying to eat a sandpiper so he chucked the shrimp in front of it. lol it was 7 pounds, 26 3/4 inches

I know to all you experienced fly fisherman this is probably a stupid question, but how do you know what the breaking strain is on fly line? Or do you just go by the breaking strain of the tippet?
