Malibu Stealth Flush Mounts

I am wanting to remove the forward flush mount rod holders on my Malibu Stealth 12. They are too far forward for me to reach easily and the bottoms get in the way of stowing rods or other items. Has any one ever removed these and what can you recommend for a watertight cover for the holes that does ...

You can get that same seat on ebay for 85. Thats where I got mine and when I recieved it I was suprised that it came directly from Surf to Summit. Just getting started yak fishing. Buying a Stealth 12(33" wide) and need to pick a paddle. I am 5'6". Willing to spend the $$ on a quality product if it makes a big difference, maybe Bending Branches Breeze Day Angler? Looks like I need 230CM ? I have small hands,do I need small shaft?Sugg...

Thats another reason I use Proderma Products , i just ordered some more. You can buy it direct from the companies website, I buy an 8oz pump for $15 and refillable a 2OZ ,$5,that I keep in my tackle box or golf bag. It usually lasts about a year.

Anybody have any experience with the Thule Slipstream 887 loading/carrier system? I have a high vehicle,Toyota Landcruiser, and it looks like a good solution,though pricey.
