Johnson Shoals runs right along Cayo Costa and is a really good tarpon spot. It is on most maps and it is clear of the pass traffic.

It was a tough one this year. I got good fish and made 3 check points but DQ'ed because I made a bad decision navigating and came back in a half hour late...

They run farther up the canals here in the Port Charlotte area. They have already started and will be here all thru the winter...

You can buy Sensor Swabs and do it yourself. I do mine all the time and it is a pretty simple job.

If your uploading to Photobucket make sure you set it to high quality before starting your upload. It takes longer but the quality is far better...
