Just wanted to post this up to show that sharks are not the only thing I catch. I went just inside the Venice Jetties yesterday and fished the edges of the deep channels looking for these guys moving into the backwaters and as I had hoped they were doing just that. http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y...

I was out there yesterday and managed to find some pompano in the 4 to 5 Lbs. range

They last as long as you dont loose them like I do. They always seem to fall out of my kayak when I am not looking.

It was a bull shark.

Believe it or not it was about 18 inches of 60# flouro with a circle hook.It got him in the corner of the mouth.

A friend of mine was with me. He has one of those Kiwi Caribe or something like that. But yes he was standing up in it when he took the pics.

I have that exact setup on my Stealth 12 Works great

The last couple weeks have been good using chunks of cut ladyfish under the groves for redfish. You have to fish them near the high tide..Just hook them up and freeline them until something takes off with them.

I only know this because he is living with my friends exwife.

Yes they closed. He is doing lawns now. another victim of this economy.

I think I could even be tempted for that one.
