I know how you feel, I was out from April, the OLC was the last time I fished, until August. Hopefully you will get back out there soon.

Thanks ya'll. Yep it is great being back on the water but I do need to remember the sunscreen, ouch, legs got pretty red, oh well still had a great time.

9-2-07 report

Well I went out again today, first day trip on the water and I went to usual spot. The trout once again was real active in the channels areas, tide was really low so I was unable to get to my one spot that I usually fish at. In all I was able to catch and release 8 trout, the largest was 22" an...

Just wondering how you did? I have not launch from there yet but have fished that area via power boat, I know, I know. Have caught quite a few trout in the that area but no reds. I will jhave to try it once I get heal up.

I like fishing for trout also and I have fun with the ladyfish, but I too after awhile of too many lady fish grow tired of them.

Glad to see you all catch some good. I went out later and fought the wind did catch a couple of reds but not like I did on Friday, I was using the same spoon. It was a heck of a paddle coming back in to the launch site with the wind and the tide.
