I've seen the boat at a store as well as the local boat show here in Vero Beach. Back Country has one on display and I had a conversation with the store owner who tested them fly fishing. He was quite impressed with the ability to get into skinny water and found it to be stable enough to stand and f...

The wife drug me over to Bok Tower Gardens today and as we were driving along I mentioned your pictures to her. As we were coming back we saw one perched on top of a fence post just like yours above. Just east of the Kissimmee bridge overpass.....................................ck

I think you list the things that you require of a community. Then go find it. I keep doing that and realize that I'm there. I only wish that I had bought a place on the water, rather than one very close to the water. I lived in Pensacola on Perdido Key (I think every house or condo is on the water) ...

Re: Soft bait madness

I have a Shimano zippered bag with 8 ziplock bags, but it's a pain to deal with and I always seem to want to toss something that isn't in that bag. So, how do you kids store softbaits while on the water? I use the same zippered bag, but I have extra bags, and I also put in a small plano box in ther...

Needless to say, but if fishing one is very likely to catch a snook out of season, in fact I caught a nice one this morning, but he was instantly released, didn't even take him out of the water. They are out of season for a reason, so why target them, wait until the spawn is over. Haywood, I agree. ...

According to wildlife records, 2% of snook caught and released die. Taking them out to photo and measure likely ups that %. I don't think that targeting fish out of season is such a good idea........................ck

Went this morning and again tonight, a total of about 3-4 hours. Caught 1 large snook, 5-6 nice Spanish, I king, 1 Bluefish, 5-6 ladyfish, and a bunch of Jacks. All casting from the shore. If I keep this up, I may never get in the Kayak again. ................................ck

I went several times over the week-end. Many, many Jacks, quite a few ladyfish, one snook, and one tarpoon. Spent about an hour, all low tide, early morning and late evening. Actually got tired of the Jacks. All on gold spoon..................ck
