Mine was sight casted in a foot of water using a dupree spoon fly. Put it in front of three or four and they all charged it,I think they were competing for it because they were pretty aggresive.

if you wamt to fish on top try a gurgler, there a little slimmer than the ep mullet and cast a heck of a lot better.ohh and they make a little noise
