Re: The Old Man Tears Them Up on the River

It was a nice day and a learning experience.
I always learn something every time I go. Usually it is, oh oh, what the heck do I do now?

Remind me to tell you about my bass trip to Lake Weiss a life time ago. :bounce:

Thanks for the tag along pass Gib. :thumbleft:

Re: Which Gold Spoon ?

Lets add a fourth spoon in the mix. If my target species is Reds only the Reflecto bronze spoon is awesome. The Reds will smash this wobbly dude. Check em out. Maybe I should just be quiet. Sometimes I talk too much. :-B Seriously this is a tough, long lasting, fish caatching spoon. As for the j Joh...

Re: Bug net

One of the reviews mentions it protects from no see ums. And ass far as the rings, I am hoping my hat does the same job... The reviews also say that this one has the best visibility... One thing I love about amazon, though,is that if it don't work, Icahn always return it:) Absolutely hard to beat a...

Re: Bug net

As Rik said you will want the ones deesigned to drape away from contact with your skin. JMHO tho! Thats a very low price point so I doubt it works on no s...

My 1971 Old Town CJ16

Recently restored this old canoe. Its a collecters item in that it was the first ever designated solo canoe built. ( Production wise) Over the years I have gone thru numerous kayaks, and or canoes, in search of the holy grail so to speak. Well folk it's not out there ,,,yet! This canoe comes oh so c...

Re: Cow Creek

Makes me so darn glad I have no holy grounds to share. I do have plenty of places I fish but If I tell ya about them, or take you there, then that grail becomes public and feel free to go there, any time. I had much rather know the tidal conditions, some weather conditions and water temp than where....

Gator bite

Folks the big trout bite was off the chart this morning. What a beautiful day to be out with friends terrorizing the trout in their winter time holes. I caught five big trout this am and one of them was a huge mudder. http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n165/fishwhistler/DSCN1449.jpg http://i112.phot...
