When Paddling, you got to pull up the rudder. You can paddle with the rudder down but only if you have absolutely ZERO slop in the rudder. ...The only thing I don't like is that it tracks like a tank. I have the Hobie Outback S.U.V. and I think it's a great fishing platform. I like being able to pedal troll and have my hands free for fishing.
