I'll take a guess that you were at Stump Pass Marina. I'll never get tired of seeing a 35-40" snook come up to "accept" a free shrimp under the dock and hear that gulp!! Englewood is a great place to stay!

Thanks for the info, Fellas.

The high tide is around 9:50+/-, and the major feed early, so I will probably be on and off the water fairly early to avoid the heat myself. Thanks again for the info.

6/18/09 Morning Trip - Please advise

Hello, All.

I haven't been out in quite awhile and am looking to head toward Bullfrog Creek or Bishop's tomorrow morning. Has anyone seen, and willing to tell about it, anything good in either location? Let me know if one spot is doing well, or not. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Will do. I know it will be harder for you and your wife to sit and wait than for your daughter. Kids are very resilient and God is great!! It will all work out!!

Nice catch, Gentlemen!

Good luck with the surgery, Norm. Hopefully you'll be back on the water before you know it!

I'm afraid this will be a trend with people going to electronic subscriptions. There's nothing like getting the new edition of Florida Sportsman in the mail. My computer doesn't reach into the bathroom either, so that could be a problem later too!

I'm sure he killed that trout in self-defense. I can't complain too much because I do like to eat what I catch, but I couldn't help but shake my head at the 20 trout carcasses at CRB boat ramp on Friday. That just seems a little excessive, but again, I shouldn't complain in case I actually catch my ...

I was there on Friday and did not see anything out of the ordinary. Then again I drive an old car that doesn't exactly scream "valuables inside" like some of the nice trucks out there!

I was hoping someone from over here did well enough to get a name on the board, but at least it sounds like you all had a great time. Just reading your posts has me considering a trip to the east coast!! Thanks for sharing the highlights and pictures!!

While I can't say its under $35, like the Okuma, but I love my Shimano Symmetres (I have 3). Sports Authority has a sell every now and again for 15% or 25% off which puts them around $60. Good luck!

Congrats on the first red. Now that you've got a few firsts out of the way, you can start increasing personal bests on size and numbers!! Good luck out there!
