That is a Polk County Park located east of US 98 on S.R. 540, just east of the Polk State College/USF Lakeland Campus. I haven't made it yet, but hear its beautiful with multiple trails to explore and plenty of photo ...

Sounds like a great trip out, Tom! Lesson learned about the tent, "accommodations" and boots. When fishing I always leave something either at home or in the car too, so don't sweat it!!

I woke up this morning to 1/8" of ice in my bird bath. Are we going to need ice fishing gear for the PFTS? For the record, I have the same "no-pressure approach" as Joe, I can't catch a snook most of the year anyway!!

I have to agree, even though its been said over and over, find the one that is most comfortable for you. I have a big head and most of the models were tight across my temples. I found the Harpoons to be comfortable, then went on ebay and got a $249 pair of 580's with green lenses for around $160! Go...
