Not only do I have to work but I was required under all circumstances to report today and if it turned ugly I was going to be "locked down" and forced to stay until the state of emergency was over or face termination. I work in surgery in a major hospital so I guess it comes with the job.

I think that you have to have a license to fish from a kayak? so it qulifies as a "vessle"? I allways use circle hooks with live bait anyway so its a moot point for me.

I actually have researched this.. the cheapest most effective unit for a small canoe or kayak is simply a min kota endura 30.. its $100 bucks at wal mart (I think i saw it).. and a normal lead acid battery will run one for about 9 hours of straight run time... no need for solar just trickle the batt...
