Hurrah Lake has public access, right off Thatcher road. You launch at the side of the bridge.

Thanks for posting the report! I fished from my canoe there once before. Its a neat place. There are actually quite a few places to launch around there, including inside the state park.

My wife asked the other day if we could rent foot powered kayaks around here. I honestly do not know. I have seen standard paddle powered ones but I don't want to let the opportunity pass by. Is there a place around here to rent Hobies or Natives?

Took the family out this weekend for the maiden launch. At the Alafia River state park there is a hand launch that allows you to get to some of the lakes on the property.
