They sell them at Bill Jackson's for .50 EA. They are called tri-grip Rivets

After you get the kayak back in the water put the kayaks side by side. The person in the kayak will stabilize the kayak by leaning across locking to 2 kayaks together while the you get back in. It is not easy but it works.

You should be able to remove the rivets and turn them. The 3 holes should be covered by the flange on the flush mount. It they are the flush mounts with the 4 mounting holes they might line up.

Call Canoe Country. I would think you could buy they from the factory cheaper than getting them form a wood shop.

Great idea on the trolley line keeper. I might try that too. I use the same type of paddle holder. I mount the bungee on the adapt-a-track and put the keeper button on the inside of the gunnel.

Call Thule customer servise. They will send you new ones. They have a very good customer servise department.
