Re: Cockroach Gator..

I was just wading in that general area for a bunch of hours the other day. Sure glad he didn't pop up on me... I'm thinking I would have pooped on him. I've heard of gators in that area by others, but never saw one. I briefly thought about it the other day when I was out there, so when I saw...

Re: This one was special

Awesome Dave! I can totally relate... I got my first tailer up in Palma Sola yesterday. Water was skinny and I was searching hard & finally came up on 5 or 6 tails waving at me. I lobbed in my Rootbeer/Chartreuse Slayer Sinister Tail and pulled it right under their noses and jiggled it a couple ...

Great Day with Stepson - 7/30

Took a couple years off from kayak fishing & recently got back into it big time with my stepson. Needless to say it's been forever since I last posted but I couldn't resists because it was such a banner day on the water. We went out on Monday 7/30 to fish the outgoing. Found a pothole that I had...

Thanks Jim - been waiting for someone to post a report today to see how the post front bit was. I'll be heading out on Monday morning. Hopefully that will give things a bit longer to settle down. We still have to get out together again some time soon. I need some more tips. :D

Bishop's Harbor - used Baby Bass Exude, She Pup & MirroDine. With the MirroDine being the big producer (quanity & the red). The exdue got the biggest trout - didn't measure, but it was a pig at 24 inches plus.

12/26 - Windy But Good

Made it out today with what seemed like a fleet of airboats. 3 of them. They make an insane amount of noise. No kidding... after the first one blew bye, the great morning bite dropped right off. I normal fish during the week. But with Christmas, I had a lot more company than normal. Managed a bunch ...

are those waist-high waders you are wearing? if so where did you pick them up?
Look a lot like the Cabelas Premium Dry-Plus Waist High Waders I just bought. Wore them once during the cold spell we had a bit back and loved them. Here's the link. Cabela Dry-Plus

What's your winter time game plan?

Being new to kayak fishing this summer, this will be my first winter. I was wondering what others do in the colder months and thought a poll was in order.

Yes that was me. I recall seeing a couple folks off in the distance. One red, not sure of the other.
