Re: Shamus' big day

Hell of a morning, my friends. I enjoyed the company, the banter, and the show. Twas the perfect elixir for grieving an old dog.

We have a special thing here.

See ya in 6 days and 7 hours.

Re: Go Pro Advice

Unless you are sightfishing, you are going to miss the first jump. You just can't be filming the whole while. Of course, this would be true with any camera. The wide angle lens is very forgiving. I have my GoPro zipped-tied to my hat. No problem keeping the fish in frame, but you won't get any up-cl...

Re: Feeding the Homeless

I have nothing but respect and gratitude for LEO's who protect and serve and nothing but disdain for those who use the badge to display their authority for its own sake. Politicians will make unfair and sometimes immoral laws. Discretion is the better part of valor. Donation made. Email sent. Thanks...

465 feet. At 1/10 of a mile long it should paddle at 150 mph. Awesome.

Re: We lost a good man today

Thanks for the reminder, mate. We have lost some beautiful people. Let us not take for granted our fellow Paddle-Fishing (don't forget the dash) brothers and sisters. For better or worse, we are a family. Too many times we lose a family member with little or no notice. For what it's worth, I loves y...

Re: advantage of a 14' over 12' KAYAK?

Length=Speed
Beam=Stability

The only other issue is if you fish deep water. Not a problem getting the tip of an 8' rod around the bow of a 12' boat. A 14' boat, not so much.
