i like structure near a point on the new moon, strong incoming or outgoing. with the new moon its darker so the shadow lines are more pronounced than on a full moon.

its a Temple Fork Ticr 7wt with a gold cup reel. not crazy about the reel, but it gets the job done. the temple fork rods are awesome if you don't already have one. i have a 12 wt for tarpon as well.
