Thanks srsfsu, that's what I did with my last boat, I was considering using the terminal ends for the shock chord instead of the pad eyes this time in an effort to keep it a little cleaner. ever used the terminal ends before?? specifically, do you know if the chord ever pulled free?? also what i use...

Just got a redfish 14 myself and have only very basic rigging so far, anchor trolley, and scotty mount rod holder (forward center) same as yours. I've had the terroreyz in my box for a while but the last OLC was the first I ever gave it a fair try mainly because I wasnt sure how to work it. After trying it I would use it again but like all else have been saying, in depper water than where I was. Does seem like it is an effective bait though.
