Glad to be back

I finally came back to website after many years to see if it was still up and running and was glad to see it is. Not sure what the activity is like these days but I really enjoyed it back in the day. I met some really nice people and fishing partners and hope to do the same again. Do you still run t...

Re: Paddle-Fishing.com mobile app

Very nice app I downloaded it for my Blackberry Torch and it seems to work well. Damn paddle-fishing has came a long way. I like it. It also looks like I finally found a trailer for my kayak and will be back out there again catching all the fish.

Tents

I am going to be buying a new tent soon and was wondering what your thoughts were on the best tents for the Florida weather are. I have never owned a tent before and want to get a good, dry, breathable, light weight tent. Thoughts?

Vanishing Water

Please go to the "On the Waterfront Forum" and read the post I created about Vanishing Water. I listed a few great books to read about Florida and the Water issues.

Thanks,

Vanishing Water

I wanted to share with everyone some really good books I have recently read. The 1st is a book named "Mirage". It is about Florida and the Vanishing Water of the Eastern US. It will really open your eyes on how Florida was so wet with so much abundant fresh-water that it now faces shortage...

All thermoplastics expand and contract in the heat/cold. That is not nearly thick enough to notice anything plus we are not going from the sun to the dark side of the moon. Why so negative. It looks good I may want a new one my screws holding mine together are rusting. Just a work of caution, Acryli...

Re: Gandy 10/8/09

So if anyone has any suggestions on how to target Mangrove Snappers I would appreciate it. So I expect to hear from Rik now :) KM To catch snapper at Gandy: Go at the beginning of the outgoing tide. Anchor on the north side of the Friendship Trail on the Tampa side, one bay in from the end of the f...

Yeah there is a lot of good fishing over in that area. Next time you go out post a message in the correct section on this forum and maybe I will join you out there. Also trying to get replies on this forum can be difficult too especially if you ask for help. :P

Gandy 10/8/09

Last night I went out with my friend Jeremy looking for the usual suspects but really wanted to target some mangrove snapper. Anyways we managed to catch 3 Mango's of which only 1 was a keeper, also we did not hook up with any Trout (Which lately I cant find), Reds, or Snook (Which we did see in som...

What is up

with all the people posting non fishing reports on the fishing reports page? Maybe we need to reinforce what the difference is between Fishing Reports and how is the parking and who wants to go out on a date. Sorry I just broke the rule but it seems like everyone reads and posts here regardless of w...
