Please....Be careful out there.

Post by Heywood »

As I was coming home from ICAST yesterday, I came across this accident. Fearing that it was someone I might know, I turned around and lended a hand.

Distracted while reaching for a water bottle, the truck caught the curb, got pulled off into the medium and then into a drainage ditch. Luckly the young man was ok.

All that matters is that the guy is ok. The truck and the kayak can be replaced.

Yep. Thats easy for us to say, but hard for him to understand at that moment.

Glad he is okay. I see stuff like this and I have to wonder how in the heck can that happen, all you have to do is keep it going in a straight line for crying out loud. Oh well, just a little carelessness goes a long way, fortunately he didn't take someone else with him, too.

All I can say is I am impressed with his bungie cording. All that stuff stayed right where it belonged in his kayak.
