weedon island 4/10

So today I went fishing over at Weedon Island with Peter Poletti "mako". This was my first time fishing from a kayak. We hit the water a little before the sun came up and started fishing some of the grass flats, there were mullet everywhere but nothing biting for several hours. later in the day I did land this red. Pretty much my first one......well I have caught a few before but they were real small. All in all it was a great time, I learned a lot and I am now hooked on kayak fishing for sure. I plan on getting a kayak this week and can not wait to get back in the water!!!

Nice red. With the price of gas slowly climbing to $4 a gallon, you will be glad you have a kayak.

Peter has a way of taking pictures like that. He does a great job guiding. Worth every penny.
