Everglades National Park is open 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. How do you close something that is always open? http://www.nps.gov/ever/planyourvisit/hours.htm Park rangers are considerd nonessential staff, and will be furloughed if congress doesn't fund the government by midnight. Re: kayak powerpole!

I had the chance to see one in action this week. Its a pretty sweet little gadget, and much lighter than I had anticipated. They are advertised at $595 for the drive, and $95 for the stake (will take any 3/4" stake- wang anchor). I believe they will be available in 2014. It's too rich for me. F...

Thanks for the help and tips, Mike! TA Mahoney's is right by my office. I'll swing by there at lunch and see if I can pick some up.

Re: Ask Gambler!

Thanks. The jig heard with wire guard video shows a pretty cool little trick. Does anyone know where I can pick some of these baits up in Tampa?

Re: Ask Gambler!

Thanks for your support of our tournament series! I'm interested in the different ways to rig the Flipp'n Tube weedless. I'm also curious to know about it's density/salt content; Will this bait float, or sink? Thanks!

Re: Dragonfly paddle boards

I have used a few of their paddle boards, and they are excellent fishing platforms. Very comfortable, very stable, and they track well. They are, without a doubt out, of my price range, but nice for sure.

Re: mounting 2 ride 135s on xterra?

My buddy who has an Explorer uses something like this J rack when carrying 2 kayaks on top. One goes flat like you normally strap it in, and the other in the J rack next to it. There are quite a few companies making these type of racks. This is the cheapest I found with a quick Google search. http:/...
